McCain's Third Party Competition
Yes, it's satire, but really, this actually isn't that far from the real world--this guy's not a heckova lot different from Fred Thompson or McCain. None of them fancy schmancy three-syllable words...straight talk!

In Honor of the RNC...
...a couple of songs by Randy Newman.
Interestingly, this first song "Political Science" was made into a little video (not this one) by a poster on YouTube. He apparently didn't understand the satiric intent of the song and presented the video as a screed AGAINST THE LEFT(!). Just goes to show you that in a country where absurd extremes are the norm, irony and satire are dead, and probably says something about the attitudes of a lot of nutcases on the right.
"Rednecks" don't just live in the South....
